The JCTLM process for the review and approval of Cycle 12 (2017) nominations for reference measurement services was completed, and Medicalsystem’s nominations for twelve reference measurement services have been accepted for listing in the JCTLM Database.

 

The following services from MedicalSystem Biotechnology laboratory are now published in the JCTLM Database:

- (C12 RMS11-13) three reference measurement services for Electrolytes (Potassium, Magnesium, and Calcium in blood serum),

- (C12 RMS4-10) seven reference measurement services for Enzymes (CK, LDH, ALT, AST, GGT, AMY, ALP in blood serum),

- (C12RMS14-15) two reference measurement service for Metabolites & Substrates (total Bilirubin and Glucose in blood serum).

                       

 

About JCTLM (Joint Committee for Traceability in Laboratory Medicine)

The JCTLM was established in 2002 through a declaration between the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM), the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) in response to the implementation of the European Community Directive 98.79/EC on in vitro medical devices.

The JCTLM is an international consortium that promotes the global standardization of clinical laboratory test results, and provides information on reference materials, reference measurement methods and services that are available from around the world.
